White Water Rafting

Me, a non-swimmer went white water rafting for the first time with Miramar NYC Ski/Snowboard Club. Needless to say, I was scared to death but it all worked out; I managed not to fall out of the boat which made me very happy! Would not have mattered though considering life jackets are mandatory, but the water is still refreshingly cold. Great weather, new friends and amazing experience, don’t know that I am ready for higher level yet, but I don’t recommend trying white water rafting when there is a dam release.
